Logitech g29 not calibrating

I recently brought a g29 to use on f1 I play very casually so I thought a cheap one would be a good idea. The wheel does not work with the game though. It's not recognized in game.

There is no problem at all with the wheel, it worked straight away on Forza and Dirt so I don't see why it won't on F1. I have searched this forum and done everything I could find to get it to work deleting a file in F1 was really the only thing but to no avail.

Unplug the wheel, uninstall LGS using the geek installer you provided, made sure everything was removed, restarted PC, installed LGS, plugged in wheel, calibrated it, removed file and started the game.

Nothing changed. Am I missing something? I'm not sure how to verify them, if you wouldn't mind explaining? And I use an xbox wired controller but I make sure its unplugged. My mouse and keyboard are both also logitech, could that be a problem? You could try going back to wired keyboard and mouse or relocating the nano receiver if they're a wireless set.

I'll give that a try after I've done the re install of LGS. I've not heard of set point but both my mouse and keyboard are wired g and g SetPoint is for more basic sets. I have the MK combo and that uses it. Your wired combo rules out any nano receiver noise issues.

Just wanted to update you, I've just gone through the whole uninstall LGS and deleting the file again. Didn't work. Check the games validation. Everything's fine. So I just don't know what else there is to do. Yeah, you're running an Insider build of Windows It is regarded as Alpha software may have stability issues or non-functionality. This is what iRacing recommends. Go with it and try it for a while. The next thing to do is to open the iRacing simulation and calibrate your wheel.

I use 8. You can adjust min force as you begin using the wheel in the simulation. If the wheel oscillates, chatters or vibrates while you are driving straight, you need to turn down the min force. Somewhere between 8 and 12 is usually good on the G Click reset. This zeroes the wheel at dead center as shown in the image below.

Follow the instructions on the screen. I use the hex screw heads around the center of the G27 wheel to set mine. Click Done, then click Done again to complete the calibration and exit the wizard.

Stop right on the track and press F9. FFB strength is shown at the bottom of the black box. Click auto to set your force feedback for this car. Hey I believe I have the same problem. I have done exactly what Photolight recommended yet it still doesn't work. I hope they adress this annoying bug in the next patch. Baker View Profile View Posts. I used to have the same bug on my Driving force GT.

What i did to fix it for me was: 1. I started Steam as Administrator 2. Started the logitech Profiler as a Normal User 3. Started Project Cars 2 This fixed the Wheel rotation for me. Not only does this adjust the Softlock for some Cars, the Force Feedback also feels better and more intense than before. Maybe this will help you too.

I think this is a game-specific issue because Assetto Corsa applies softlock correctly without needing to run Steam as admin. Michalski View Profile View Posts. For me turning steam as administrator does not work, even worse when I go to pedals calibration game switches throttle and clutch pedal.

PC2 is driving me crazy with those issues. Originally posted by malorob :. I just resovled that issue by deleting seperate logitech profiler for game pad i have. Now everything is fine. Per page: 15 30 This site uses cookies for analytics and personalized content.

I recently bought a G with shifter and have so far only used it to play FH2.

The wheel auto-calibrates when you turn the XB1 on no problem per usual. When I'm driving what I'd call "normally", it's just fine. But when I have an intense race and I'm using a fast car that likes to slide around, resulting in vigorous use of the wheel, it will "fall out" of calibration in that the steering wheel's center cants to the left about 25 to 50 degrees. This leaves me with a wheel that's off-center and quite awkward to use.

So I end up having to quit the game entirely in addition to resetting the wheel for things to work normally again which is frustrating to say the least. I did not see any thread about this anywhere so was wondering if anyone else has had this issue come up. And if anyone has any suggestions on how to help minimize the effects of this would be much appreciated! Hi, I just got Forza Horizons 3 and I have the same problem.

I have been playing Dirt Rally without issues, so I hope its just a bug with the game? Did you solve your problem? Anyone found a fix for this yet? I'm on PC. I have the exact same problem on absoultely any game usualy happens on Assetto corsa tho since i USE the game to drift, but some times In drastick moves this happend to my wheel and i have to replug IT ITS annoying and IT shouldeny happen according to youtubers using thos wheel.

Just leaving a message here for the googlers. The only thing that fixed it was a warranty claim to Logitech. My old wheel was mildly rattly, rough and emitted a semi-loud whine when moved quickly.

It tended to regularly make a clattering noise during gameplay. When just plugged in, there was a little bit of "slop" in the center - just a few degrees - which you can push the steering wheel easily from side to side with an audible clunk.

The new one they sent me has no such clunk, and it's much quieter, emitting more of a dull roar than a whine when moved against FFB. It does still "clatter" in certain cases during gameplay, but there's pretty much no slop or clunk in the wheel like the old one. No matter how fast I move the new wheel, it doesn't fall out of calibration. All I did for warranty is send an email to their support customercare at logitech dotcom detailing the issue. Seeya round, googlers. Hi, I know this is an old thread, but I was having the exact same issue, and as part of my troubleshooting process, I uninstalled all the drivers and reinstalled Logitech G HUB to see if that would solve the problem, and it seems to have worked, as now my wheel stays calibrated even under hard, quick steering inputs.
